The Board of Trustees of Trinity Christian College in Palos Heights, Ill., announced a leadership change in August, reporting that the school’s president Aaron Kuecker was stepping down to serve as the CEO at Hope Chicago, a nonprofit scholarship venture. The board announced Sept. 4 that executive vice president and chief operating officer Jeanine Mozie would serve as acting president.
“Dr. Kuecker has served the College with dedication and vision for nearly a decade and a half,” Ken Dryfhout, Trinity Board of Trustees chair, said in the August announcement. “In each of his roles, he sought to advance the mission of the College with courage and grace and did so with joy and hope.” Kuecker served Trinity for three and a half years as president and before that was provost for six years and a faculty member for five years.
Mozie is in her 10th year at Trinity, according to the September announcement. She has served in several roles, most recently as chief of staff. Before her work in the president’s office, she held leadership roles in enrollment, including admissions, financial aid, marketing, and community partner development, the announcement said.
